There are many credit cards currently offering introductory nought per cent interest deals to new customers.  The introductory zero per cent offers provide a bit of breathing space for six or nine months to pay off debts or to make some purchases with interest free credit.

However, choosing the best card for you is more complicated than it might seem. Some zero per cent offers apply to new purchases as well as balance transfers, whereas some do not. It is also important to check what rate (typical APR) the card will revert to once the zero per cent period is up.  Also if you're looking to transfer a debt from another card, pay attention to the transfer fee.
